Dabawenyo Reform UK Successfully Holds Launching Press Conference in Kilburn

London, UK – Dabawenyo Reform UK officially marked its launch with a well-attended press conference on March 2, 2025, at CoCo’s Lounge, London. Hosted by Ela Hidalgo, the event gathered key media personalities and members of the Filipino-British community in an evening dedicated to advocacy, awareness, and collaboration.

The event highlighted Dabawenyo Reform UK’s mission of empowering indigenous children in Malabog District, Davao City, by providing them access to education, healthcare, and protection. The organisation aims to nurture a generation of self-reliant and community-driven individuals, with programs extending to support parents through livelihood and education opportunities.

Engaging Q&A with Media Partners

A dynamic Q&A session followed the formal introduction, where media partners, including representatives from Pusong Pinoy (Malcolm Conlan), Jhermination (Jhermy Esperanzate), One Philippines (Rey Abesamis), Britanya Ngayon (Carol Panday & Amy Balliao), and Inner Works (Mimi Milli), engaged in insightful discussions with the organisation’s admins – Chit Sarmiento, Nene Robledo Cahambing, Cris Samarista, Richie McAllister and Rodel Saycon.

The admins enthusiastically addressed inquiries about their long-term plans, sustainability strategies, and collaboration opportunities with UK-based Filipino organizations and individuals. They emphasized the importance of collective action, urging the community to support the cause through events, partnerships, and volunteer efforts.
