Be careful and always check how much you’re being charged at this shop!
I had a very unpleasant experience here today. The cashier manually entered the total instead of scanning the items individually, and we ended up being overcharged by more than £10.
When we asked for a receipt, the cashier didn’t provide one. Instead, he immediately mentioned an item we hadn’t purchased and gave us the extra money back in cash, even though we had originally paid by card.
What concerns me most is that the overcharge was only acknowledged after we asked for a receipt. We were never given the original receipt or any written record of the refund.
I found this experience very suspicious and disappointing. I strongly recommend that other customers double-check their totals and insist on an itemised receipt before leaving the shop.

A nice store, but not a single price sticker on any of it so it was impossible to know the cost.

Idk if those Indian guys are still there, but they were literally watching just me as I was shopping (I don’t look sus at all) very very uncomfortable experience everyone else was nice though.

A fantastic little market with a great selection of Asian groceries, sauces, snacks, and fresh produce. The shop is well-organized, and the staff are always friendly and helpful. It's a great place to find ingredients that are hard to get elsewhere in the area. Definitely a go-to spot for anyone who loves cooking Asian food at home!
