My name is Grace, I am a nurse by background. Ive been an ICU nurse in UK since 2010 and have worked in ICU back in the Philippines too.
I graduated from St. Paul University Manila for my Bachelor’s in Nursing Degree. I moved to the UK way back 2010 where I have worked in 2 ICUs – one in Essex and second is in a West London hospital where I am still currently working as a part time senior staff nurse. I have studied several post graduate studies in various London Universities.
I’ve been trained in Harley Academy for both injectables for skin rejuvenation and cosmetic dermatology , profhilo, skin boosters, microneedling, pigmentation and chemical peels. I have also done my training for electrical facials from Essential Beauty Academy.
Why Aesthetics?
I’ve always been a beauty enthusiast myself. Skin treatments are very personal to me. As someone who have struggled acne for a long time, I felt that overcoming the struggles to fight for skin concerns are really life changing. It’s gives you another life in a different way. We have to understand that ‘Beauty is not just physical- it’s skin deep!’ If you feel beautiful inside, it organically radiates and make yourself glowing as a whole.
Shifting into aesthetics have always been at the back of my mind. I just don’t know where, when, how and why. With a lot of reflecting and courage, I finally did it! It’s so fulfilling yet anxiousness is unavoidable when entering a new career, environment and role.
And now I am in this position as an Aesthetic nurse. I want to help and inspire everyone to be beautiful in their own skin regardless of one’s skin colour, sizes, background and orientation. I am a believer of natural looking results and an advocate of a glowing, youthful and healthy skin for all ages.
