Food here was amazing, their gyoza delights was a great way to start and would highly recommend. Some of the other places in this food hall was disappointing, but this place really made me happy. Customer service was also really amazing, the gentleman that took our order was very friendly and helpful and was actually happy to serve us with a genuine smile on his face. Thank you for the great service.

We got sweet and sour fish and prawn noodles. The fish was so overcooked it was actually hard and the prawn noodles were very salty. We also had to wait 25 minutes for the food, which seems a bit much for street food. Not great, sadly.

Bit of a shame when new food places in Bang Bang tend to be well below average. Ordered the BBQ beef and adobo and onion rings and tried the juicy chicken. Unfortunately the order took 30 mins to be prepared, whilst that may not be bad, every other place in Bang Bang serves the food within 5-10 mins so you might be thinking the food would be prepared 'fresh'. The food itself was 'okay' taste wise and felt hearty enough however for the amount you pay you get little to no meat (1.5 tablespoon of beef?!). What was worse is the onion rings tastes HORRIBLE and couldn't even pass off as onion rings. The 'juicy' chicken was completely bland and considering the competition around the food hall it was almost inedible. Now at this point we were already disappointed, the only thing that was good was the attitude of the server on tills, she was nice. When I went home I began to feel ill and ended up throwing up the food I just had, luckily there were no further symptoms but an absolute shame. Stick to Yaki Ya! or Coconut Tree!

At Bang Bang in Colindale I decided to be adventurous and try a place I'd never been before, despite being a regular to the food court. That place was PinoyBites, and I can say with absolute certainty, this was one of the most disappointing and bland meals I've ever had.
I ordered the tocilog, which as any Philippino will tell you has three simple components, 1. chicken tocino 2. garlic fried rice 3. a fried egg. Somehow they managed to mess up every single part of this dish.
Chicken tocino should be sweet, garlicky, with flavours of pineapple and caramelised sugar. This was a pile of flavourless meat. Honestly, I can't believe how bad it was. Zero flavouring, and zero seasoning, just a big red pile of meat which was not juicy or fresh in the slightest. Terrible. I ended up feeding this to my dog.
Now let me address the other parts of the dish. The rice was similarly tasteless. It was neither fried or contained any garlic. Bland and lazy.
Finally how do you mess up a fried egg? It was burnt on the bottom and around the edges. Badly and poorly cooked.
When you order at any vendor in Bang Bang, you usually get the food within 5-10 minutes. I waited about 30-40 minutes to receive this luke warm, poorly cooked and insultingly bland meal. I am writing this review so you don't have to suffer the same fate as me. Do NOT go to PinoyBites unless you want overpriced, underseasoned and tastelessly awful cooking. Just don't go. If you're thinking about it, don't.
I have been to the Philippines twice and my girlfriend is a Filipino. The food in the Philippines is absolutely delicious. This meal was garbage and the only place it should go is in the bin. Revoltingly bad. Insultingly bad. I'm angry and how bad this meal was. Shame on you PinoyBites.
