I've been eating at Lorenzos for over 5 years and for a long time, it served the best meal I have ever had. But things have changed.
Their menu is limited but there’s really only one thing you should ever order: the 8-hour braised beef, everything else is a disservice. Go all in, loaded fries with beef on top, an extra piece of beef on the side and even then, it still feels like it’s not enough. I honestly don’t know what they put in it, but it was incredible.
The meal used to come in a container that kept everything in its ideal state. Now, it comes as some kind of rice bowl, with the standard beef portion reduced from three pieces to two, and plantain swapped in. Let me be clear, no one wants that plantain. Everyone I know would happily pay extra for more beef instead.
For a while, you couldn’t even get extra beef or loaded fries, it was basically a take it or leave it situation. Thankfully, they’ve added that back but the rice bowl format introduces new problems. Fries sit at the bottom while the beef is on top for presentation. A syrup meant to go over the beef inevitably soaks the fries, leaving them soggy before you even get a chance to enjoy them. Everything turns to mush.
Worst thing of all: the beef itself isn’t consistent anymore. What used to be the juiciest, most tender, melt in the mouth beef has become hit-or-miss. Dry pieces, chewy pieces - it’s a gamble now.
This review and photo is a testament to what the place used to be at its peak. It’s still a decent spot for an occasional visit, but the fall in quality is heartbreaking. From time to time I’ll check in to see if they’ve recaptured that magic, but for now, I can only weep for what was lost.

Another filipino restaurant that is worth trying in London, we didn’t have expectations when we bought food from here previously but we were surprised by how flavorful and delicious it was! So I am delighted that we are able to deliver thru uber eats whenever we have filipino food cravings.
The people here are very nice and sweet, and even gave us free brownies to try which we loved!
I am hoping you can someday have a restaurant with seating options one day as they only do takeouts and delivery for now. Cheers! mabuhay kabayan ♥️

Got the inasal and jerk inasal (it has filo BBQ sauce) which came with a delicious macaroni thing. It was so good, cooked perfectly and tasted like home. We also got a large pandan cake (not sure if this was on the menu yet) to share and I'm pretty sure I came ~ it was excellent.
Just be aware, this is their warehouse and the kitchen is a hole in the wall where you can watch them cook. It has no seating but it's welcoming and decorated with fun filo art.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A Proper 10/10 Experience at Lorenzo’s Kusina!
I had the 8hr Beef Short Ribs – one with sweet potato fries and the other with rice – and honestly, this was next-level food. The sweet potato fries? Hands down the best I’ve ever had. Perfectly crispy, full of flavour, and paired with that siracha mayo – chef’s kiss. The plantain was spot on too.
Now the beef… 10/10. Fall-off-the-bone tender, packed with flavour – every bite was magic. This is the kind of meal that just makes you giddy and happy. Me and the Mrs couldn’t stop saying “OMG” after every mouthful.
To top it off, they threw in a delicious brownie because I waited a little longer – such a thoughtful gesture from the team. My immediate reaction after the first bite was, “I need to leave a review.”
Lorenzo’s Kusina – you’ve absolutely smashed it. A perfect way to end the week. We’ll definitely be back!

Best tasting food I’ve had since 2026… woww
Unfortunately I only have this screenshot from a video I took of the food because genuinely after the first bite, I forgot about my phone. Lovely staff as well and this place deserves all the attention if not more than it already has 👍 10/10 food, I got what the brother at the till recommended and he did not disappoint Allahumma Barik
