I ordered 8 hour beef bowl and didn't receive honey glaze pot and utensils! That's understandable but the so called garlic rice was undercooked, lacking salt and extremely mild garlic flavour. The beef was tender but expect strong adobo taste with good hint of soy sauce, bay leaves and seasonings but it was so mild and tasted ok. The plantain was the only good part. This place is overhyped or they just lost the track with maintaining good quality and consistency in their dishes. It was kind of inedible and I've to throw away that undercooked rice and ate remaining stuff only. Totally disappointed :(

I've been eating at Lorenzos for over 5 years and for a long time, it served the best meal I have ever had. But things have changed.
Their menu is limited but there’s really only one thing you should ever order: the 8-hour braised beef, everything else is a disservice. Go all in, loaded fries with beef on top, an extra piece of beef on the side and even then, it still feels like it’s not enough. I honestly don’t know what they put in it, but it was incredible.
The meal used to come in a container that kept everything in its ideal state. Now, it comes as some kind of rice bowl, with the standard beef portion reduced from three pieces to two, and plantain swapped in. Let me be clear, no one wants that plantain. Everyone I know would happily pay extra for more beef instead.
For a while, you couldn’t even get extra beef or loaded fries, it was basically a take it or leave it situation. Thankfully, they’ve added that back but the rice bowl format introduces new problems. Fries sit at the bottom while the beef is on top for presentation. A syrup meant to go over the beef inevitably soaks the fries, leaving them soggy before you even get a chance to enjoy them. Everything turns to mush.
Worst thing of all: the beef itself isn’t consistent anymore. What used to be the juiciest, most tender, melt in the mouth beef has become hit-or-miss. Dry pieces, chewy pieces - it’s a gamble now.
This review and photo is a testament to what the place used to be at its peak. It’s still a decent spot for an occasional visit, but the fall in quality is heartbreaking. From time to time I’ll check in to see if they’ve recaptured that magic, but for now, I can only weep for what was lost.

We got the braised beef box meal and beef loaded fries. The beef was cooked well and full of flavour. The honey glaze, garlic rice, and mac salad, complemented the beef really well. The beef loaded fries were a standout. Rich, flavourful, and topped with a generous amount of beef. Great flavours and generous portions. Definitely a place I’d go back to.

Got the inasal and jerk inasal (it has filo BBQ sauce) which came with a delicious macaroni thing. It was so good, cooked perfectly and tasted like home. We also got a large pandan cake (not sure if this was on the menu yet) to share and I'm pretty sure I came ~ it was excellent.
Just be aware, this is their warehouse and the kitchen is a hole in the wall where you can watch them cook. It has no seating but it's welcoming and decorated with fun filo art.

It’s such a shame that an owner who has clearly put their heart and soul into building this business, and who made me into a loyal customer, has their reputation let down by staff who don’t seem to take customer service seriously.
We pre-ordered 30 minutes in advance but still waited over two hours to receive our food, and the order was wrong multiple times. We accidentally spilled our food, which we fully take responsibility for. The staff kindly offered to replace it, but unfortunately that promise was never fulfilled.
The attitude from the staff was unnecessary, and unfortunately this experience has put me off returning. It’s a real shame because I genuinely enjoyed the food.
