only Filipinos know that this place is 10/10 every time and the bad reviews are people who aren’t used to the carinderia style of eating/filipino food.
Been here 3 times and recently was Sunday night. Staff are obviously very friendly, service was great - food came quick and was exactly how I expected it to be.
The combo meal is actually a very good portion for one person. We got the lechon kawali and pork sisig combo meal and had sinigang to share. Again, the portion for sinigang was great for two people and we even had enough left over to takeaway. The lechon lawali and pork sisig combo meal portions were great and I was shocked how much meat they gave since other Filipino restaurants will serve half of that portion for nearly double the price.
I really love to visit this restaurant every time we visit London as it makes me feel so nostalgic of back home. I always bring my non-filipino, English friends to try the food so they can taste authentic Filipino food and they have always enjoyed it!

Visiting Earl's Court today for lunch! It seems to be a little bit of a mini Philippines 🇵🇭. We picked Kamayan Sa as the reviews seemed to be very wide ranging and I was curious to see which end we'd be in 😂
Reading the menu, it is definitely catered to Filipinos so I spent quite a lot of time using Google (Lens) to find out what most of the dishes meant!
We ended up having:
- tortang talong (🍆 omelette)
- lechon kawali (super crispy pork 🐷 belly)
- sizzling sisig (pork)
- garlic 🧄 rice (might be my new favourite thing!)
I'm pleased to say we are in the happy camp. Food was good and service was not as bad as reviews suggested. Portions were also generous - I couldn't manage dessert 🙈. The customers were all mostly Filipino too which was very comforting. I would say that if you visit this place and expect it to be like a family run cafe with some element of randomness, you'll be ok!

We visited as part of our London trip. Although this place is quite out of our way, we’ve been here before and previously had a good experience. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing.
The elderly gay staff member on duty appeared unhappy and irritable, despite there being very few customers at the time. While we understand everyone can have off days, customers still deserve basic courtesy. He seemed unwilling to answer questions or take orders properly, repeatedly telling us to wait for another staff member instead.
At one point, he snapped at my son when he politely followed up on our order, saying, “Can’t you see what I am doing? I’m preparing—just go there, I will serve it,” delivered with a very rude expression. This was particularly upsetting and completely unnecessary.
When we later ordered an additional meal—because we enjoyed the first one—he also made an inappropriate comment asking why we hadn’t ordered everything at the same time.
Overall, the service made us feel unwelcome. Sadly, due to this experience, we won’t be returning.

Thanks to Kuya Ed, for the amazing food! There's 8 of us and had brunch yesterday, 30th November. We all came from different places across the UK and Ireland, and everyone of us were raving about the food. It's proper authentic filipino food and we highly recommend this place. This is now one of our go to places every time we visit London. ❤️

We’ve been coming to this restaurant every time we visit London because the food is authentic and consistently great. Service was quick since we ordered from the ready-prepared dishes in the trays. However, kuya who served us seemed stressed working on his own and came across a bit sarcastic. Unfortunately, this made the experience less pleasant for our group of friends.
