A very expensive mistake. Hired a housekeeper nanny through them and paid £7k in fees. In the short 1.5 month that the nanny was employed, she had moody outbursts weekly, refused to do basic tasks, repeatedly let our toddler fall and bash his head and then did not even check on him, then eventually just didn't show up to her shift altogether.
This was after we did a week of trial where she was impeccable, hard working and agreeable, up until we paid the agency fee.
I am wondering if Filipino Staff works together with the nanny to earn to fee and sends them off to another customer.
The agency was responsive before hiring the nanny. But during the nanny's absence, I could not get hold of them. No one replied on WhatsApp, no one picked up the phone, no one called back. Even though we have "guaranteed replacement" with them, we had to use another agency to hire a temp.
Another red flag is that the agency later commented that the nanny letting our toddler fall on his head repeatedly "does not indicate serious risk" - that's huge safeguarding concern for a company that supplies carers for children and vulnerable people.
I obviously don't recommend them, but if you really want to use them, suggest a monthly payment in installments and don't pay all upfront like me and end up losing a lot of money (in addition to time spent training the new staff and the grief at the end).
