Being foreign, parent and Filipina – is no easy feat!

Arriving in UK means having to adapt to everything; culture, language, educational system, weather, work environment etc. Motherhood aggravates the feelings of anxiety, loneliness, isolation and homesickness. Finding new community and support group is sometimes a challenge.

This group is created for Filipino mothers residing in UK, Filipino mothers coming to UK or coming back to UK. The aim is to inspire and provide support/advice needed for mothers in UK. We hope to make everyone less homesick by having conversations closer to home. Chika about parenting, career, pera, sexlife etc. Most of all, we hope to build friendships that will last a lifetime.
