If you are the sort of person who enjoys their senses to be assailed on all sides , then this is the place for you. It’s almost as if the restaurant is competing with its Basque Tapas bar counterpart next door for the “loudest music award”. This completely put me off my food and gave me a headache. In any case, the food was ok (I had ginger pork sisig on a sizzling plate which seemed to be missing the customary fried egg on top) and not very balanced (vegetables are extra). Apart from another couple, I was the only other diner on a Thursday night. Perhaps footfall is low as this is the furthest evening restaurant inside the north side of the market.

This one is well worth the visit if you are in the area. As our family is well acquainted with Filipino food we wanted to give this place a try. The sizzling sisig was spot on, so much so that we ordered extra to take home for the rest of the clan to try. The Litson Kawali also gets an honourable mention as it was also delicious (although we didn’t get an extra takeout of this dish as the pork can dry out and become tough when reheated).
Very friendly staff who made us feel more like we had popped into a friends place for some food (if you ever visit a Filipino home, after greetings you will here the famous phrase “let’s eat” and the food will keep on coming) albeit food we paid for. But it was well worth it and very reasonably priced.
Highly recommended.

I stumbled across this restaurant while I was getting grocery nearby.
I am a big fan of Filipino food and I have tried some of the best Filipino food from my Filipino’s friends mom and good Filipino food from the Bay Area!
This place serves a real authentic Filipino food! I ordered Sinigang, and it tasted just right, the broth and the sourness hits the spots! The only I wish is that they use pork ribs instead of pork belly, it was still good tho!
I will definitely come back to try other dishes :)

The food is really close to home, I must say. I am a meticulous eater especially with Filipino foods, and I don't give reviews but this one deserves one. Regards the slow service that day well, I would say the Chef is just taking his time to give out as much love on the food he serves to be that tasty and as good as home. Kudos
